The  Jesus Unity Walk is a peaceful, Christ-centered community walk designed to bring local churches together in unity, worship, and public testimony. It includes Scripture stations, worship moments, prayer, and a closing celebration, all aimed at strengthening fellowship and demonstrating the love of Christ.

What is the core purpose of the Jesus Unity Walk?

The primary purposes of the event are: to publicly lift up the name of Jesus, to strengthen unity among local churches, to encourage believers through Scripture, worship, and fellowship, and to bless the community with a visible expression of hope and love. It is a peaceful, prayerful, and Scripture-focused event.

What unique experience can I expect from the Unity Walk?

Participants will experience a public proclamation of the love of Jesus. This walk is a unique opportunity to visibly demonstrate the unity of the Church, walk together in humility and joy, and share a visible expression of hope and love with our community.

When and where is the Jesus Unity Walk happening?

The walk is scheduled for Saturday, May 9, 2026, beginning promptly at 10:00 AM. It starts at Greenon High School and concludes at The Gazebo across from Enon Elementary (Settlers Park).

Is the Jesus Unity Walk safe and legally approved?

Yes, absolutely. The event is fully safe and legally approved. The park is officially reserved, the road will be closed for the walk to ensure participant safety, and all legal and safety requirements have been completed. Volunteers and leaders will be stationed throughout the walk to assist participants.

Is the unity walk associated with a specific church or political agenda?

No, it is not. A common misconception is that this walk is a ploy to get people to transfer to a specific church or that it's political. We want to be very clear: the "Step by Step with Jesus" Unity Walk is a Christ-centered unity walk designed for all local churches. It is explicitly not political, not a protest, and not a fundraiser. Our sole focus is on publicly lifting up the name of Jesus and strengthening fellowship among believers.

Yes, For everyone’s safety, please keep pets leashed and ensure they are well‑behaved and under the owners control at all times.
